Brrrrr!!
Over the last few weekends, I have been getting into town for about 7am and wandering around taking photos.
This shot was taken on a particularly cold morning down at glasgow green. I was walking along when I heard 20-30 geese around the corner. They were all huddled together on the river bank, obviously trying to keep warm.
I managed to get some great close up shots but I think this photo was the funniest. These two geese decided it would be a good idea to get into the water. The first one got into the water and very quickly decided that it was far too cold and promptly ran for shore. Needless to say, the other one decided against going in.
Apart from the amusing story, I do like the match of colours in this shot, especially the browny red of the geese and the water.

Ha! I wish I’d seen that. Its a well framed shot though, you do get a sense of movement in the geese. Could perhaps do with a wee adjustment layer in Photoshop to punch up the colours, however… but nice!

The story definately makes the photograph a bit more heartwarming
Colours are nice, just feel that the right hand duck either isn’t sharp enough, or doesn’t stand out enough from the water. He/She/It seems to get lost..
