The Squirrel
This shot was taken a while back now, on an autumn morning. Not the greatest of shots (think its a bit plain) but I like it for 2 main reasons.
This was all about patience and took about 10-15 minutes of waiting for the squirrel to finally come into view, so it is an achievement in that sense.
Secondly this was one of the first shots I took using fully manual setting including focus. I am pretty pleased with the result as the squirrels tended to move pretty fast.
Feel free to point out the good and the bad.

Yeah, and I had to wait with you, too. It was more like 40 minutes, just for the record. And the squirrel kept winding us up by going up the trunk, and never appearing on the top to take the nut!! I’d have cropped the lower part slightly, although not too much. Cool shot though.
