Morning glory

Morning glory

An early morning shot taken at tynemouth priory.

I quite like the bleakness of the shot as well as the colours. Well worth the freezing temperates and amorous dogs!!

That whole section of coastline, from the Collingwood Monument round the corner, coming back past the Priory, King Edwards Bay, Long Sands and Cullercoats and Whitley Bay up as far as St. Mary’s Lighthouse is a very, very special place. I have a Google Earth “tour” that flies the coastline to remind me of “home” – I went to school in Tynemouth and spent many happy times along that stretch of coast.

Yeah steve, it really is a great place. I love to visit as much as possible. I was originally going to go along to the end of the pier but it seems to be shut just now, bit of a shame but at least I got this shot.

Great shot…. but I’m a curious what you had to suffer from the amorous dogs to get the shot..
